Celosia is among the most saturated of garden annuals. Its inflorescence takes one of three forms depending on the group, ranging from soft feathery plumes to the velvety fasciated crests that genuinely resemble a rooster's comb, and the coloration runs through hot reds, golds, oranges, and pinks.
